The Keychain Finger

Well, all right. What other way to kick off the article than a man that has mummified his own finger that was removed in an accident in order to put it on a keychain. The fact that this keychain is made of a mummified human finger, is one of the most disturbing things that I have ever seen. What an amazing way to bring the weird and macabre into this world. I guess technically, now he can say he still has all 10 fingers. Imagine a world where you lose one of your fingers in a shop accident. Do you, personally, then turn the end of that removed finger into a keychain for yourself to keep forever? You have to be a very unique individual to turn your own finger into a keepsake. Not only this, but to make it a sort of tchotchke to dangle from your lanyard and be a piece of personality connected to your car and house keys. This one is definitely unique, rare, and very disturbing.

FUKUSHI MASAICHI - The Tattoo Collector

This picture is that of a doctor from the early 1900s that was known to have the world’s largest collection of body torn tattoos. This is to say that his collection consisted entirely of skin that was removed from deceased individuals that included tattoos that they had acquired over their lifespan. There isn’t a whole lot in this world that is more macabre than that of a skin collection from a doctor. This seems more like a piece of information given from a fictional scary movie, then a telling of real-world events. in this picture he is shown, holding up a body torn tattoo from an incredibly large piece. This piece in particular spans almost the entire length of the body. Therefore, he essentially owns a bodysuit of skin from a person once living.

The Teacup of Teeth

The next image is a teacup made from human teeth. There’s no way that this is actually used to put consumable liquid in, right? Wow this is strange, mysterious, and macabre; There is also a certain cringe factor to it that some of the others don’t have. It’s unclear whether it’s the material used to make the cup and dish themselves, or the addition of what they are meant to be used for that makes it so disturbing. Nevertheless, it is incredibly off putting all the same. It looks like something from a horror movie in which the villain makes you drink from it to suite their weird fetish.

The Tooth Fairy?

We don’t exactly know what’s going on in this one here. I can say, however, that this one is my least favorite in the entire article. I can’t stand looking at it for more than half a second and even that is one second too long. it is, simply put, the stuff that nightmares are made of. There must be a specific phobia out there somewhere that relates to this specifically. It’s so bad that I am sure some of you may have skipped this one even off of a first glance. Here is to me, hoping sincerely that you were not eating or planning on eating soon. Sorry for putting you through this one.

Hairy Tongue

Aren’t you supposed to get hairy palms? Wait, does that mean he… You know what? Never mind.

Well, if you are that flexible, hopefully you never receive gods good grace in the form of a hairy tongue. There are so many questions to ask when you look at this one. Can he taste stuff? Does he have to shave his tongue? Can it get long enough to braid it? Is there a safe hair dye option for tongue hair? Some guys have a hard enough time growing hair on their face as a beard, and this guy is over here changing the game for everyone. It’s like he was in some sort of chemical accident and now he is a superhero that goes by the name Mr. Hairingtongue. You almost hope this is real and it’s not just some guy putting hair all over his tongue for a disturbing picture.

Sorry for the explanation on this one, it may be TMI, but here we go. This is actually, creatively named, “Black hairy Tongue Syndrome” and is usually only temporary. It is caused by a buildup of dead skin cells on the surface of the tongue. They then get coated by things such as food, tobacco, bacteria, and more. This is what provides the dark color that resembles black hair. It is usually harmless and goes away after you brush your teeth a few times decently. So that’s good…

Giant Worm

Does this one make you feel insecure? That is perfectly understandable. This is a Gippsland Earthworm, and they can get up to 3.5 feet long and half a pound on average. On the bigger side of the spectrum however, they can reach sizes of up to 10 feet long! If you see a 10-foot-long worm, you are probably going to rethink life as a whole, and you are not to blame for that. They are from Australia, and that makes absolutely perfect sense. Everything wild and weird as far as animals go comes from Australia. The odd animal capital of the world brings you another delight in the form of a 10-foot-long earthworm.

A Lamprey Fish’s Mouth

This fish is often called an eel, which it is not. This fish has no jaw and is characterized mostly by its razor-sharp teeth covered mouth that is in the shape of a funnel. They are considered to be a parasitic carnivorous fish that tears into the flesh of large fish and feed on their blood. So, basically this is a real-life vampire fish. These vampire like fish can range anywhere from around 5 inches long up to 40 inches long. That is a wide variety of sizes but imagining a fish longer than 3 feet with a mouth full of razor teeth that tears holes in flesh and feeds on blood is enough to keep you out of the ocean on occasion surely.

John Wayne Gacy’s Clown Costumes

John Wayne Gacy was an incredibly well-known serial killer, so surely you already know who this is. You probably also already know that he was a clown for little children’s birthday parties. While that is disturbing in its own right, there is an added odd factor to seeing the actual costumes that he used to where in order to perform for these children. Think about it for a second. These outfits were used by him to perform at children’s birthday parties in between brutally murdering people and burying them under his house. If that isn’t one of the most messed up things ever, what is?

Bad Taxidermy Fox
